Being a maker at heart, I am passionate about building things that make a difference.

I have experience in designing and building both hardware and software systems; I have worked on projects ranging from programming industrial robots, to developing firmware for a student-designed rocket, to leveraging computer vision to automate 3D printing.

Beyond academics, you'll find me performing bands such as Pink Floyd on my electric guitar.

Vending Machine Robot

Dispenses canned drinks using a 2.5-axis traversal mechanism with powered pulleys, guided carriages, and automatic homing calibration. Uses an inventory tracking system to prevent out-of-stock vending.

Took ownership of top-priority tech demo, taking a leading role in planning and collaborating with cross-functional teams on risk mitigation to secure follow-on contracts.

Built a real-time 3D aircraft telemetry visualization to identify anomalies instantly and reduce debug time.

Firmware Engineer @ Waterloo Rocketry

Sep 2024 - Present

Implemented IMU state estimation and sensor fusion in STM32 based on filtering algorithms for rocket canards to maintain orientation.

Led development of automated hardware testing systems to evaluate sensor fusion to validate IMU precison and error handling.

Conducted STM32 performance analysis and developed driver-level guards to mitigate hardware bottlenecks.

Interfaced all printers to network, enabling monitoring and usage optimizations.
